Sorry for not updating this site for quite a long time, I am too lazy. During this time when I haven’t been updating this site, I have become addicted to travelling in Korea. I have just came back from my 7th trip to Korea, and I have become like kind of an expert to Korea among my friends. I just wanna introduce this brand new excellent guesthouse for those of you who might be interested. Minari House is the nicest guesthouse I have stayed in Seoul. I highly recommend it to anyone who is going to Seoul.
It is really brand new, it was opened like just in mid March 2015, I think I was one of the first few guests for the new Minari House.
My first stay in Minari House was in the old one in 2014 when I went in April on my own. I stayed there for 8 nights in a single room. I found Minari House on airbnb back then, it sounded interesting as it combines art gallery with guesthouse and artist residency together, one gets to view artwork, meet the artist who is working in the workshop and stay in the guesthouse all in the same time. The price is quite reasonable too.
As I have stayed there for like 8 nights, I have become friends with staff of Minari House (which is owned by A Company, a company that tries to support new Korean artists, from my limited knowledge, they also hold art fair to sell their work and sell products of their artwork, other than operating the guesthouse). And as I stayed there alone and had quite a relaxing schedule, I remembered I had quite a lot of time chatting with Han-byeol during that stay.
And they have just moved to a new place nearby. This time I returned with my friends. We were some of the first guests in the brand new place, the new place is bigger, prettier and right next to the residence of a Korean former president.
Let me tell you why I like it, so you can decide if you wanna stay here in your next trip.
This is going to be the most difficult place to get to, the revolving door was difficult to find online… but it wasn’t difficult to get to, this one is the most difficult among the 5 filming spots of IHYV, because it is farthest away from the metro, so I suggest you should get there by bus.
This was one of the most interesting days in my last Seoul trip.
Before going there, my first destination of the day is Milkcow ice cream store. XDDDD I tried it the first time that day, Jong Suk just started endorsing this brand at that time, so there are no pictures of him in the store… This was taken at the Hongdae store.
Ok… You probably don’t need any screen cap to remind you of these places if you have ever watched I Hear Your Voice??😄 If yes… please rewatch the whole drama…😄 it will be worth it, I promise! I have rewatched numerous times myself…
