Christmas

This year, I have decided to do something different.

I went without internet for the Christmas Day :) (It is a very special thing for an internet/Facebook/email addict like me… haha!) I remember a couple of months ago, I read this article about taking a Sabbath on the internet. After thinking about it for some time, I have decided to do it on Christmas Day.

I just took a rest, watched some TV (what? watch TV?? I seldom really sit down and watch TV, usually I surf the net while the TV is on…) and read BOOKS!! haha! I really love reading, but now most of the stuff I read is from the internet browser… or ebook reader…

Prince Charles @ Copenhagen Climate Change Conference

Another Copenhagen related post… so sad that every country is still thinking about itself, not what the earth is/will be like! No one is willing to lose, and in the end, everyone will lose.

I have never liked Prince Charles. (Well, is there anyone apart from Camilla who likes him ?)

This is a compelling speech though, even though he didn’t have much of a charisma. Obama has the charisma, and I guess he wanted and still wants to do it, but when he’s in his position now, he’s forced to do things he has never thought of doing before… If only Obama is brave enough to promise to do something substantial @ Copenhagen, then the whole world will be changed. And then he’ll really deserve to get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Next time when you want to buy something, throw something away, fly somewhere for a vacation… anything that will cause CO2 emission, stop and think about it.

And remember these people whose livelihood is affected by the climate changes you and I are responsible of.
